I strive to combine my two passions – good, accessible design and contributing to a more sustainable world.

I’m Julia Rende, originally from Uppsala and moved to Stockholm to pursue my dream of studying Graphic design. I have more than 10 years experience of working with branding identities, illustration, layout and web design.

Quick trivia about Julia:

  • Can speak Japanese

  • Once folded 1000 origami cranes as a school assignment

  • Is left-handed

  • Is a great whistler

My biggest passions are typography and visual identity, and I find much of my inspiration in Japanese culture, art history and abstract art.

In 2024, I enhanced my design expertise by completing a UX/UI Design Bootcamp at Technigo. Advancing my skills in user experience and interface design has been very useful aspects in my design process, regardless of media.

I love visualizing data and information in a way that makes it engaging and easy to understand – always with the user in mind. In my free time, I enjoy doing ceramics, abstract typographic art, and reading books with my cat Bosse.
