Zoï – 5 Year Plan

At the beginning of the new year, I landed a real dream project. This project was especially fun because it grew out of my passion for asemic* art. I was tasked with creating a design for the Zoï Environmental Network's 5 Year Plan. They wanted a layout based on asemic illustrations and stylish, simple typography.

I produced 4 unique asemic illustrations that were to stand for the visual feel of the brochure, matched with a simple and structured typographically focused layout.

I also produced a graphic monitoring framework of Zoï's targets in combination with the brochure.

Zoï Environment Network is a Geneva-based non-profit organization that specialises in the analysis and communication of environmental issues. They are analysts, communicators, consultants, facilitators, trainers and knowledge brokers all in one.

*Asemic art is a form of visual expression that is based on abstract writing or letters that lack specific linguistic meaning. In essence, it is a type of writing or shaping letters without semantic content, where the focus is on the aesthetic qualities of the symbols rather than conveying a particular message.
